Schedule: 6:30pm - 7:00am, 3 shifts per week (some weekends required).

Come join our team as our newest Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse and start loving your calling. As the flagship location for St. John Health System, St. John Medical Center is a 567-bed hospital with a fast paced, exciting atmosphere and an ever-constant flow of patients.
In this unit you will care for high acuity patients who are post ICU. You will assist patients who have IV drips, chest tubes, external pacemakers, pericardial windows, and post CABG.

What You Will Do
As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to providedirect nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  
  • BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained within1 Month (30 days)of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nursecredentialed from theOklahoma Board of Nursing.
  • LicensedRegistered Nurseobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma
  
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required

Work Experience:

• None required.
