Our Clinical Nurses (RN) in the OR independently provide care to patients presenting for various surgical interventions. Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care, including, but not limited to: management of patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures; knowledge of asceptic technique; review of equipment and product safety, and patient and staff safety in the OR environment. The RN in the OR serves as a resource for other team members.

  • A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment)
  • A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board
  • One - two years of clinical nursing experience in the Operating Room is strongly preferred
  • Healthcare Provider-Level CPR certification


*Eligible candidate will have 2+ years of OR experience and BSN prepared.
