The Baylor Scott & White Austin Medical Center is a brand new
facility currently in the stage of being built. Currently, we are anticipating an
opening date of early 2020.

We are currently identifying qualified nursing candidates to join
our team.
Nursing interviews will
take place in Fall 2019. Employment offers will be extended into late
2019, with a projected hire date/orientation date inlate 2019.

The Registered Nurse
Manager is responsible for creating and sustaining a healthy work environment
for staff which fosters excellent professional nursing practice, shared
decision-making, interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration resulting in
positive patient and staff outcomes.

The Registered Nurse Manager
supervises all nursing and unit-based personnel in the department in order to
provide a safe, caring environment for patient/family and staff. The Nurse Manager
plans, develops, implements, evaluates and monitors policies/procedures,
budgets, the allocation of resources, continuous quality improvement
initiatives, educational programs and shared governance/shared leadership
councils to achieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives.

with a critical, keen, approach, and are proactive with minimal guidance to
problem resolution.
