About the Unit:
  • 25 Bed Unit that specializes in care of renal disease and diabetes as well as care of kidney and pancreas transplant patients.
  • Patient to RN Ratio: 1 to 5 for both day and night shift
  • Utilize the married state preceptor model with weekly scheduled meetings with manager and educator to evaluate progress
  • Cohesive team work
  • We utilize Self-Scheduling to support balance between work and home obligations

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Under the general direction of the Nursing Director or Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
  • Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards.


Minimum Requirements:

Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

Licensure : Current Registered Nurse/RN licensure required

Certifications : Ability to achieve and maintain BCLS certification required.

Experience : New Graduates should apply to Graduate Nurse application.Previous clinical experience in area of specialty preferred
