Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedic Clinical Coordinator - FT Days

The Orthopedic Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of safe, quality care of Orthopedic patients with oversight of the unit's operations, acting as a liaison to physicians in regards to patient information, company policy and procedures.

  • Function as a team lead, educating and mentoring staff, as appropriate;
  • Works as a team member ensuring high levels of communication with patients; conducts patient quality and rounds, addressing patient issues as required
  • Performs hourly rounding on patients within assigned unit;
  • Assumes responsibility for meeting quality outcomes and performance improvement initiatives
  • Implement interventions to address potential issues based on clinical data and root cause analysis
  • Ensures core measures and survey readiness standards are met
  • Assume a leadership role on projects related to PI or initiatives on the unit
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of AIDET, utilizing with each patient interaction
  • Follows hospital safety and quality standards and expectations, as it pertains to job performance and patient care

Qualifications

If you fit the following criteria, we'd love for you to apply to be part of our team!
  • Hold a valid RN license from the MO Board of Nursing
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN, BSN or MSN degree
  • Current BLS certification
  • Orthopedic certification must be obtained within 1 year
  • 2+ years' experience required including orthopedic care.
  • A passion for high quality patient care
  • Compassionate, friendly and driven to excellence
