Position Summary:

Functions as a member of patient care team under the supervision and direction of a licensed nurse, in providing competent care to patients according to their individual needs. Performs basic patient care directed at the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients.

Reports To: Nursing Coordinator of Unit & Director

Supervises: None

Position Requirements:

Licensure/ Certification/Registration:
  • Current CPR certification.
  • CNA certification required.

  • 1 year experience required; preferably in acute care.

Special Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
