Grand Strand Medical Center located in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC is a 345-bed acute care hospital serving residents of Horry and surrounding counties. Our hospital offers the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) in Horry and Georgetown counties and is a designated Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center by South Carolina DHEC.

The Pediatric ICU is an 8 bed Intensive Care Unit.  The Pediatric Unit has 12 dedicated beds for general pediatric patients.  Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity of patients.  Our facility is designated as a Level 1 Adult Trauma and a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Facility.  Our Pediatric Intensivists are board certified critical care specialists. Family-Centered Care is practiced & Child Life Specialist is on staff.

We are searching for a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift position.
The RN is responsible to the Nursing Director/Charge Nurse for the delivery of quality patient care utilizing the nursing process. Apply your nursing knowledge derived from education and experience as foundation for patient care, communication, and documentation on the unit.

Provide quality patient care, in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and department. Maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community.

Prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided to assigned patients and is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.
