Oncology RN - Travel Contract - Des Moines, Iowa

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN to join our team for a travel contract in Des Moines, Iowa. As an Oncology RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. You will work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments to patients
• Monitor patient's progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families about their diagnosis and treatment options
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Oncology RN
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts as needed
• Ability to travel to Des Moines, Iowa and work on a contract basis
