We are searching for a Registered Nurse to join our state-of-the-art Med/Surg in a full-time, day shift (7a-7p) Charge Nurse role.

The Charge Nurse, under the supervision of the Unit Director and/or Nursing Supervisor, is responsible for coordinating & supervising the patient care team on the unit.
- Daily operation of the unit including supervision & assignment of all patient care team members.
- Assessing the overall needs of the unit related to patient acuity & staffing and coordinating with the unit director & nursing supervisor.
- Collaborating with the Nursing Supervisor & Unit director for participation in quality improvement, assisting with the assessment of educational opportunities, and providing hands-on patient care coaching.
- Responsible to meet all, but not to perform on a daily basis, job duties as outlined in their respective unit Registered Nurse job description, when required by patient or unit needs, as well as those listed in this job description.and practical needs of patients and families as described in "Patients First Service" while using appropriate & effective communication skills.
2 years as a Registered Nurse, minimum of 1 year experience as a Staff Nurse in the Med/Surg area.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current license in GA. Completion of or actively pursuing BSN degree preferred.
