The Program Manager is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating continuing education, in-service and staff development programs to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities will include working with front line care providers, multi-disciplinary teams and corporate stakeholders to review quality measurements and to implement actionable solutions to achieve clinical performance excellence.

  • * Provides classroom instruction, didactic presentations, and information to Staff based on standards of practice to ensure quality patient care.
  • * Evaluates educational needs of staff and recommends programs to meet those needs.
  • * Prepares and presents educational programs to interested personnel as requested by other Medical Center Departments.
  • * Attends professional meetings and serves on various Medical Center Committees to enhance and maintain an awareness of community and national standards and on new techniques and procedures. Maintains knowledge of current Nursing practice and remains clinically proficient in the role.
  • * Participates in developing, revising, and implementing departmental policies and procedures.
  • * Assists in preparation of annual budget through needs research and annual teaching needs analysis.
  • * Completes special projects related to education, management and/or departmental responsibilities; prepares special reports for proposals developed by Education Department.

The ideal Program Manager candidate is someone with effective communication skills who is organized, flexible and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Registered Nurse

* Bachelor of Science Nursing

* 2 Years experience required

5 years experience is preferred

* Some travel from clinic to clinic is required (Flexible schedule)

Must have a passion for teaching

Clinic experience is a plus

EMR (Epic) experience is preferred

Strong collaborative skills in order to work with a multispecialty team in support of special project and initiatives to include but not limited population management/ value based care patient-centered medical home

Ability to review data and facilitate goal attainment
