Overview In conjunction with the Nurse Practitioner, the Infusion Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and scheduling of AIC nursing visits, tracking nurse administered infusions and authorizations, timely clearance of new referrals, and purchasing AIC supplies for the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Coordinates regularly scheduled nursing visits and orders with Nurse Practitioners as well as Pharmacy staffProcesses Mosaic Infusion Therapy referralsCommunicates with Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacy staff regarding referral statusEnsures all intake forms are complete and accurateObtains authorizations required by payersNotifies patients about coverage and payment responsibilitiesMaintains confidentiality of patient and proprietary informationStocks warehouse equipment and reports inventory to supervisor

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree or some college preferredKnowledge of insurance verification and pre-certification procedures, warehouse, and/or distribution inventory management Strong organizational, communication, and time management skillsComputer proficiency
