Job Description : Age Specific Care Considerations Adults: 18+ years - 35 years Adults: 35+ years - 65 years Adults: 65+ years Children D: 12+ years - 18 years Education Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program Or 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; Or Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of the Nursing Program; Or documented military experience as a medic/corpsman; Or foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S. High school Diploma or Equivalent preferred Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred) Certification of successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred Healthcare Provider CPR certification required Related Work Experience and Other Skills Ability to remain flexible and adaptable to change. Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with all levels of staff, patients and family members Able to follow oral and written instructions Demonstrates accountability for own actions. Demonstrates compliance with hospital dress code. Demonstrates initiative, is a self starter. Is able to work independently, prioritizing and organizing workload effectively to complete tasks within the time frames delegated. Demonstrates knowledge of medical terms and names of medications. Demonstrates understanding of MHD guidelines and reference, Infection Control guidelines, and MHS safety guidelines. Proactive not reactive, analyzes problems accurately, develops recommendations and takes appropriate actions to solve problems.
