The Procedural Admit/Recovery is located in the Jones Pavilion. Virginia Mason opened the Floyd & Delores Jones Pavilion, which reflects our commitment to the patient experience, and features unique design elements driven by information collected from patients, physicians and staff. The department has common intake and recovery spaces that allow for reduced patient travel, waiting and hand-off steps for patient recovering from GI, IR, Cath and EP lab procedures.

The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. Through collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals, the nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Qualifications:

  • A current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse License is required for this position.

  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.

  • Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.

  • Must be able to obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire.

  • Previous PACU experience preferred.

  • Will consider previous critical care, ED/trauma, telemetry, and/or procedural RN experience.

  • BSN strongly preferred.
