Job Description

Job Summary:

Schedules appointments for assigned area(s) to maximize patient convenience and the efficiency of clinical departments.



  • Schedules procedures, appointments and tests in compliance with department's policy.

  • Provides prep instructions for tests that require a specific prep.

  • Schedules urgent and add-on procedures according to departmental guidelines to accommodate department's existing work schedule and to accommodate physician's request/patient needs.

  • Coordinates and integrates services with the services from other healthcare disciplines.

  • Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.



  • Required Credential(s):

    • Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 

    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 

  • Preferred Credential(s):

    • Certified Advanced Life Support specializing in Advanced Cardio Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). 

    • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). 

    • Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). 

  • Diploma 
    • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required.

Work Experience:
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in the field of the primary work required.
