Position Summary

Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, wellbeing and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Education Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.

  • 1 year experience preferred.

  • 1 year of Acute Care or Pediatric experience, preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required.

  • Current Colorado Driver's License for field staff.

  • ACLS upon hire or within 12 months.

  • TNCC upon hire or within 12 months.

  • NIHSS upon hire or within 12 months.

  • ASLS upon hire or within 12 months.

  • PALS upon hire or within 12 months. May have 30 day grace period if current ENPC certification in place.

  • ENPC upon hire or within 12 months, may have 30 day grace period lapse if current PALS certification in place.

Physical Requirements

Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
