Conroe Regional Medical Center is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER).
Under the general supervision of the Director of Emergency Services, the registered nurse identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluates the results of those interventions. The Registered Nurse functions as a member of the emergency care team.
Persons in this category are responsible for consideration of developmental issues of patients in each of the following identified age categories:
- Infancy (birth to 1 yr)
- Toddlers (1yr to 3 yrs)
- Preschool ( 3 yrs to 5 yrs)
- School Child (5 yrs to 12 yrs)
- Adolescent (12yrs to 18 yrs)
- Young Adult (18 yrs to 44 yrs)
- Middle Age (45 yrs to 65 yrs)
- Older Adult (65 yrs and over)
This position may from time to time require that patients be cared for outside the normal age group. In this event the person should consult available resources to provide appropriate care.
