The Surgical Technician is responsible for the care of patients before, during and after their procedures. Surgical Technicians work in collaboration with the surgeon and other members of the medical staff to make certain the procedure goes smoothly and the patient is getting the best care possible.ResponsibilitiesAs a Surgical Technician your responsibilities include:
  • Getting the patients ready their procedures and performing various health assessments.
  • Giving pre and post-operative medications.
  • Assisting the surgeon during the surgery with providing medical tools and continually monitoring the patient.
  • Tending to patient’s wounds after their surgery and prevent any problems.
