ANIII Nursing Evidence-Based Practice Specialist
As a Nursing Evidence-Based Practice Specialist, you will work closely with the nurse scientist, nursing leaders, and clinical staff to enhance delivery of care and improve patient outcomes at UCLA Health. This opportunity will allow you to mentor and play an integral role in educating nursing staff in Evidence-Based Practice. You will partner with various nurse leaders and staff to write grant proposals, abstracts, and IRB and Magnet applications for each of our health system sites.
It's important that you have the ability to write for peer-reviewed journals and the skill to communicate evidence-based practice findings to diverse audiences. You will also need to be a team player with the initiative to work on your own and the creativity to guide others when procedures and policies change.

QualificationsMaster's degree from an accredited nursing program required
Doctorate (PhD or DNP) in Nursing with a strong emphasis in evidence-based practice preferred
Active Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in California
Ability to write for peer-reviewed journals.
Skilled in communicating evidence-based practice findings to diverse audiences
Ability to develop and deliver EBP education and training material
Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practice and teaching
