The Telemetry RN is responsible for caring for patients that must have special monitoring, sometimes this includes patients recently released from the Intensive Care Unit.ResponsibilitiesAs a TELE RN your responsibilities consist of:
Administering medications and operating life measuring instruments.
Analyzing data produced from various medical equipment and act upon findings.
Providing updates to the patient and their families about their condition.
Educating patients about the best ways to adapt to major lifestyle changes.
RequirementsOne year of experience as a Telemetry Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current BLS from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
