Pediatric Oncology Clinical NurseBSN Full Time Days12 hour Shifts

Pediatric Oncology Inpatient Unit:

The 18 beds on the inpatient pediatric unit (3W) includes 16 positive pressure rooms, as well as two negative pressure rooms for the management of disseminated zoster, pneumonia and other diseases requiring negative airflow. Delivered with the sensitivity to each patient's condition, services include chemotherapy, transfusion therapy, antibiotic therapy, hydration therapy, HCT transplants, pre- and post-surgical care, pain management, care associated with clinical trials, terminal/palliative care, management of the side effects of disease or treatment, diagnostic and other therapeutic procedures, oncology/hematology treatment, psychosocial support including child life services, recreational therapy, clinical social work, psychology, school reintegration programs, and rehabilitation services.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

BSN (Bachelors in Nursing)

2 years of clinical experience in Pediatric Oncology

Current California RN License

American Heart Association BLS and PALS (required upon interview)
