What You Will Do:

UM Shore Regional Health, a member of University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is looking for an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a thriving Endocrinology and Diabetes practice. The University of Maryland Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at UM Shore Medical Center is the only diabetes specialty clinic on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The Center provides services in its Easton location, the Outpatient Center in UMSMC at Easton, and also at the Specialty Clinic in UM Shore Medical Center in Chestertown.

Job Specifics:
  • Successful candidate will have successfully completed an accredited program with appropriate certification exams
  • When fully staffed the practice will have 2 MD’s and 3 NP’s
  • Patient-centered outpatient services and inpatient consultations
  • No call schedule
  • Diabetes educators and group classes offered
  • Health System employed

What You Need to Be Successful:
  • Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
  • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
  • Experience preferred, not required.
  • DEA and CDS eligible.
