Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Family Practice or General Internal Medicine



Virginia Mason Medical Center in Issaquah, Washington is recruiting a full time ARNP or PA-C to join our Primary Care team.


  • 4 -10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday


  • Potential for evening and Saturday coverage rotation

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner:

  • 1+ years NP experience highly preferred. Pediatrics experience a plus.

  • Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job.

  • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.

  • Advanced background in nursing; an understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology; and strong interpersonal and counseling skills.

  • Certification by specialty area as well as work experience in specialty area may be required, depending on the position.

or

Physician Assistant;


  • 1+ years PA experience highly preferred. Pediatrics experience a plus.

  • This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.

    Virginia Mason Issaquah Medical Center Primary Care is a group comprised of 5 Board-Certified Family Practice MDs and 1 PA-C, 4 Board-Certified Internal Medicine MDs and 3 Board-Certified Pediatricians whose interests cover a wide range of Primary Care – from general Annual Exams, Wellness Visits and Well-Child Checks focused on prevention to sick visits and walk-in care for children through adults.
