Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics – Issaquah – Temporary position
Virginia Mason Medical Center in Issaquah, Washington is recruiting a part-time ARNP to join our Pediatrics team.
Temporary Assignment approximately 6 months in length beginning April 2018
Temporary position; 2-3 days per week
28 hours per week
Work days per week are flexible
Occasional Saturday coverage
Potential for evening coverage rotation
- Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job.
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.
- Advanced background in nursing; an understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology; and strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
- Certification by specialty area as well as work experience in specialty area may be required, depending on the position.
- 1+ years ARNP pediatric experience highly preferred.
Virginia Mason Issaquah Medical Center Pediatrics is a group comprised of three innovative Pediatricians certified by the American Board of Pediatrics whose interests cover a wide range of Pediatrics care – from general Well Child Check preventive and sick visits to specialized care focused on asthma, nutrition, ADHD and Down Syndrome. The group is a 2017 Immunize Washington Gold Status recipient for achieving 80%+ immunization rates.
