The Director
of Nursing will serve as the on-site nursing leader for our newest Austin market acute care hospital which opens mid 2018, located in the Pflugerville community in north east Austin, Texas. This role oversees the operational, personnel and fiscal management of the department
with an emphasis on high quality, cost effective patient care. The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing
the care provided by Registered Nurses in the department, managing the
departmental budget and staffing, and ensuring that patients, nurses and
hospital administrators are satisfied with the operation of the
department.

Ideal
candidates for the Nursing Director role are:

Master's prepared

Experience at the director level effectively leading multiple nursing units and varied service lines

Proven
experience leading professional work environments that value nurses, treats
patients with dignity, and respects diversity.
