Position Summary:

Responsible for reviewing EMR documentation to determine if patient accounts are clinically related per the Medicare Payment Window Policy and combining/adjusting accounts for billing. Document notes in EMR to support decision made.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • BSN Preferred

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Four years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute hospital setting

  • Previous experience in any of the following: Insurance, Workers’ Comp, Disease Management, Case Management, and/or Clinical Documentation Specialist, strongly preferred

  • Possess good analytical, organizational, and interpersonal competencies

  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team oriented environment

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint


  • Current Colorado RN license
