Schedule: .90 FTE- 3 12's, every other weekend

Shift: FT Nights- 7p-7a

Up to $10000 in relocation and housing available with 2 year commitment

POSITION SUMMARY

Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the

patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, well being

and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State

Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• BSN Preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• One year RN ED experience required

• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS required:

Current Colorado RN license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact

Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required;

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) Certification

Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Certification or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification

All ED RN’s are highly encouraged to obtain one or more of the following national certifications:

-Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) national certification preferred upon hire-however, required within 2 years of hire

-Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) national certification preferred upon hire-however, required within 2 years of hire

-Critical Care RN (CCRN) national certification preferred upon hire

Physical Requirements

Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
