POSITION SUMMARY

Provides direct and supervisory resident care according to physicians’ orders and resident care plans. Supervises the Certified Nurse Aide’s (C.N.A) and Nurse Aide’s on duty.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1-year experience as LPN preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Current Colorado Practical Nurse License (LPN)

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required, Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required for facilities with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) preferred for facilities without an AED.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
