The Community Living Center (138B) has available one part-time registered nurse position. The unit provides care for veterans who have medical and/or psychiatric needs. This unit offers an array of services ranging from rehabilitation to long term care interventions including IV administration, ulcer care, respiratory care and all other aspects of individual support. The registered nurse in the community living center must possess the knowledge and skills to apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative interdisciplinary practice setting.

Work Schedule: 3:30p-12n, including weekends and holidays

Basic Requirements:
  • United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
  • Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing.
  • Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Preferred Experience: Prior Geriatric experience
