Registered Nurse (RN) - Infection Control - FT Days

is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Infection Control.

Position Summary:

Employee Health

Responsibilities include immunization programs for employers, all aspects of employee workers compensation and education, follow up and prevention of disease that effect the employee population.  Evaluates and assists in the evaluation of health services for employees within the hospital system.  Establishes a system of records and reports.  Provides for health counseling and education on an individual or group basis.  Works in conjunction with HCA and Insurance provider in the following of Workers Compensation cases.  Meets all federal and state guidelines as related to employees.

Infection Control:

Responsibilities include obtaining critical data & information, including surveillance for infections, following established infection control policies and procedures (e.g., isolation protocol), education efforts directed at interventions to reduce infection risks, consultation on infection risk assessment, prevention, & control strategies (e.g., environmental rounds),  and providing input into the content of the employee health program.
