Nurse Educator – RN – Neonatal - Days

Join a tight-knit team of nationally certified nurse educators led by a dynamic leader, and be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff. These programs will cover areas including the Level IV Neonatal Unit and Pediatric BMT Conduct clinical rounds, collaborate on projects related to our Magnet journey and identify the individual and collective learning needs of staff. Develop course curriculum and teach classes, incorporating research findings and using cutting-edge technology (e.g., on-line learning modules). Promote best clinical practices and inspire award-winning nurses. Regularly evaluate staff competencies, and provide clinical mentorship and career guidance.

This is a full-time, day shift position located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Schedule will be Monday - Friday.

Preferred Criteria
  • Nursing Education Certification
  • Prior nursing education experience
  • A passion for combining innovation with education, and the ability to connect well with staff
  • Neonatal Certification
  • Pediatric Hematology /Oncology experience

Required Criteria
  • Current NYS RN licensure
  • At least 2 years of Neonatal nursing experience
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, preferably in education
