Thrive in this challenging and rewarding dual role, working across all disciplines. Manage data management by following data trends in the Pediatric Trauma registry. Collaborate across various hospital departments and community agencies outside of the hospital regarding injury prevention. You will have the opportunity to coordinate and manage the education of providers and partner with colleagues from across the institution to support trauma education efforts. Blaze a trail in the injury prevention community, as you identify potential partnerships. With an emphasis on Pediatric wellness promotion, you will impact the health of people within our community before they come to the hospital.

This is a full time days shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria:
  • Clinical experience in Emergency Department, Trauma, Surgery, Medicine, Community Education, Injury Prevention, or health-related field

Required Criteria:
  • Master’s degree in Community / Public Health Education, Nursing, or health-related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Web-based learning / instruction, and Public Speaking
  • Familiarity with core concepts of injury/trauma prevention, emergency care and community health education
