Position Summary and Key Responsibilities

The Telephone Triage Nurse is responsible to conduct safe, effective assessment and disposition and documentation of health related issues for established City of Hope patients within the scope of practice using established guidelines or protocols. The telephone triage RN is responsible to collaborate with other care providers as needed to finalize the disposition of issues identified during the phone assessment.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

BSN (Bachelors in Nursing).

3+ years of clinical experience in acute care, or ambulatory care setting call center.

Current California RN License

Telephone Triage experience preferred.

American Heart Association BLS Required. ACLS, PALS &OCN certifications preferred.
