The Radiology RN is responsible for moderate sedation during cases and nursing care including ventilator management if necessary during the procedure. The RN in this setting works along side a Physician and Interventional Technologist in the department. The Radiology RN also works within the Radiology Department to support needs during diagnostic imaging cases such as CT-guided biopsy, paracentensis, and thoracentesis.
