What You Will Do:

Clinical Nurse III (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Our Clinical Nurse III role is a clinical leader, role model, change agent, and operational coordinator of the unit. You will assume the lead role in facilitating patient care processes consistent with the mission and values of the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Institute.

Progressive Care Unit Highlights Include: No Weekends No Holiday

• A 14 bed unit dedicated to our Total Joint replacement, medical/surgical and IMC patients.

• We work with a multi-disciplinary team which includes physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, dieticians, social workers, integrative medicine and case managers to provide combined expertise toward each patient’s recovery.

• When assigning care of patients it is our goal for each associate to have a 1:4 nurse patient ratio.


What You Need to Be Successful:
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland is required.
  • Current CPR card required.
  • Certification in area of specialty preferred
  • ACLS certification required
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • BSN, or enrollment in a BSN program, preferred
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience that includes recent applicable clinical experience in a comparable setting
