Roles & Responsibilities:
The Radiology Registered Nurse
performs radiological NURSING PROCEDURES (including PICC LINES). Secondary duties include clerical duties, receptionist, answering the telephone, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files, and general cleaning. Assists in the collecting date for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment. The relatively significant population served includes infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Transportation of patients, working in file room , available for “ON CALL”, ordering supplies. In collaboration with the patient, the patients family and other members of the health care team, the Imaging RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates treatment plans.
