LSSC is pleased to announce that the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree has received approval from the State Board of Education on July 17, 2017. Students can start enrolling in the BSN beginning Fall 2018. The BSN is an advanced credential for nurses seeking to advance their career in today's healthcare systems. Lake-Sumter State College's BSN program is designed for associate degree in nursing (ADN) students or RNs who have passed or are eligible for the NCLEX licensure exam.
We invite candidates to apply for our BSN Program Manager position. This position reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs. The expectation is that the program manager will complete the curriculum and course development for the RN-BSN Program. This includes, but is not limited to, course content for syllabi, Canvas (LMS) modules related to courses, clinical ESAs, and the entire accreditation process for ACEN. In addition, the BSN Program Manager teaches 6-9 credit hours per semester and supports student learning. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s core value of Service Excellence; respect, competence, responsiveness, and collaboration, in all interactions.
EDUCATION: DNP or PhD in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution required. Licensure to practice Nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida required.
EXPERIENCE: Teaching experience in an RN nursing program. Prior leadership experience in an educational setting. Experience teaching in online and/or hybrid environments.
