Position Description
The Risk Management RN will be responsible for analyzing incidents and investigating claims to identify potential risks and limit or prevent loss, as well as determining appropriate action for current risk situations. May open active claims, adjust hospital bill, or negotiate settlement within given parameters. This individual will function as a medical malpractice and commercial lines claims adjuster for hospital.
Position Requirements
Registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or equivalent education or experience. Three years clinical nursing experience, with experience in at least one of the following areas: Labor & Delivery, Surgery, Critical Care, Medical-Surgical or Emergency Services.

License/Certification Requirements: Yes

Work Hours: 8a-4:30p

Weekend Requirements: No

On-Call Requirements: No
