Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Palliative Care Service - Days
Transform your career as a Nurse Practitioner within our expanding Palliative Care Consult Service at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, an ideal setting for interdisciplinary interaction and collaboration. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work throughout the Children’s Hospital in a wide range of pediatric services, from complex, chronic disease support to end-of-life care. You will work across a variety of services, consulting on cases ranging from neurological, cardiac, and oncology conditions to chronic pain and organ failure.
Provide intensive symptom management, educational programming for colleagues, and psychosocial support for patients and families. Work independently, while also collaborating with a core team that includes a physician, nurse practitioner and social worker.

This is a full time 8 hour day shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Occasional weekend coverage as needed included.
The qualified candidate is a critical thinker with experience in an acute or sub-acute setting. NYS licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or PNP and a Board certification Ideal candidates are able to function independently and possess strong communication skills. An NP who has completed a Palliative Care Fellowship is preferred.
