Position Description
The rapid response team nurse (RRT RN) has a unique set of skills and a job role requiring a response to a variety if emergent situations within the healthcare setting. The RRT RN will complete comprehensive patient assessments. Facilitates communication between health care team members in order to meet the needs of the patient and family in the healthcare setting.
Position Requirements
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED 1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 2. Two (2) years experience critical care nursing. 3. a. National certification required in specialty area, OR b. Must obtain certification at the first offering of the exam after assuming role, if not certified. 4. Current BLS Card (CPR). 5. Current ACLS Card 6. Strong Communication Skills 7. Strong Mentoring Skills KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED 1. B.S. degree in Nursing.

License/Certification Requirements: Yes
