The Surgical Technician II is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. Required Education includes High School Diploma or Equivalent; in addition to Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program. Required Skills also includes Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up.
