  We have an immediate opportunity for a Revenue Cycle Operations Manager.

General Summary: This position manages the corporate billing, collections, cash posting, revenue booking, financial appeals and facility revenue operations QA functions.

Essential Functions:
  • Supervising the daily operations of the Revenue Cycle department for all related functions of billing, collections, revenue, admissions and authorization.
  • Ensures all patient encounters are accurate and billed in a timely manner.
  • Maintains departmental policies and procedures pertaining to Revenue Integrity within the Revenue Cycle Operations Support. Assists with the development and implementation of new procedures and provides ongoing staff education of new departmental and organizational processes.
  • Ensures staff is compliant with Revenue Cycle Office & organizational policies and procedures. Assures adherence with government compliance issues related to billing processes. Brings areas of non-compliance to the Director's attention and assists in implementing needed corrections.
  • To ensure open communication within the organization, attends interdepartmental meetings as required or requested. Works closely with other departments in implementing new procedures for maximum efficiency. Ensures teamwork efforts are continually made departmentally and interdepartmentally. Holds regular meetings with staff, addressing issues specific to revenue integrity.
  • Use collection management system & reports to monitor accounts receivables.
  • Develop summaries of accounts for use in determining productivity & staffing levels.
  • Identify underlying issues that impact the success of collecting insurance claims

Supervision: Manages the activities to the Revenue Cycle team.

Experience: Five to seven years’ experience in Revenue Cycle. Three to five years of progressive leadership experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree with accounting emphasis preferred.
