Reporting to the Supervisor of care management this position will provide case management to our members including medical, social, psychological, physical and spiritual needs by Developing, implementing and monitoring the care plan, in conjunction with the PCP, caregivers and other team members, to help meet the member's needs. managed care nurse, managed care rn, nursing, rn, nurse, care management

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing, BSN preferred
  • Must have an RN license in the State of NY
  • Minimum of three years experience in acute or longterm care with prior medicare managed care experience required
  • CCM preferred
  • Spanish, Cantonese, Creole or Russian language skills preferred
  • Working knowledge of utilization management processes and case management also required
  • Knowlege of federal and State Managed Care regulations, InterQual, and local medicare coverage guidelines
  • Knowledge of windows, Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
