Clinical Manager - RN - Pediatric ICU - Nights

We care for childrens overall wellness, working closely with families and the community. Our Teen Weight Management Program and other renowned initiatives feature specially trained nursing professionals with uncanny expertise in the unique pathology of childhood illness.

The Clinical Manager assumes first line leadership responsibility and accountability for managing the delivery of patient care on an assigned shift. Facilitates efficient and cost effective daily operations of the unit(s) in relation to patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Promotes a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity and consistency in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures. In collaboration with the Patient Care Director, participates in the establishment of unit(s) short and long term goals and ensures its alignment with the hospitals overall strategic goals. Is accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements.

This is a full-time, night shift position located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Hours will be 11pm - 9am, with no weekends or holidays.

Preferred Criteria
  • Previous leadership experience

Required Criteria
    A minimum of two years of RN PICU experience Bachelor’s Degree in NursingCurrent New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)BCLS certification
