Join NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) where nurses are patient advocates in the truest form. Following complex and rarely seen surgeries, we provide pain management, clinical assessment and vital information for multidisciplinary colleagues. Our PACU units support over 60 surgical suites, among them the nation's first to broadly use Artis Zeego 3-D robotic imaging. We experience a particularly high case mix index because of our reputation for quality and care. From the first successful pediatric heart transplant to the world's first center for orthopedic surgery, we've historically led the way. Today, our PACU nurses' mastery continues to set standards for post-operative care.

This is a full time days shift position, from 6:00am-6:30pm at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Medical Center.

Required Criteria
  • At least one year of acute care RN experience in a step down or ICU
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
  • BCLS certification
