Nurse Practitioner - NP – Cardiology – Consultation Liaison - Days

In this role, you'll manage complete history, and physical assessment, and formulate plan of care and treatment on the Cardiovascular Service (both inpatient and outpatient). Participate in day-to-day operations and test supervision at the Cardiac Stress Lab. As a key member of this team, work collaboratively with members of the Cardiovascular team and other disciplines to develop and support practice changes in accordance with evidence based practice. Participate in implementation and development of divisional and institutional initiatives focused on patient outcomes, patient satisfaction and performance improvement. This is a full time days shift position with four 10-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, at NewYork-Presbyterian / Lower Manhattan Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

  • Current or previous nursing experience in Cardiology
  • Current or previous nursing experience in Neurology
  • Ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin
Required Criteria

  • Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner OR Bachelor's Degree as a Physician Assistant
  • Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license OR National Commission Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
  • ANCC board certification
  • Current BCLS certification (Nurse Practitioners only)
