Within burn services we have 3 different areas/levels of care: Burn ICU- 20 beds, 3E (burn step down unit)- 16 beds and 4W burns (med-surg care unit for burn services)- 34 beds.
Burn services is a very busy and dynamic service line at Doctors Hospital. We have the capacity for 70 patients and our average daily census is about 65. We have over 150 nurses that are employed in burn services and we are always looking for eager and energetic nurses to join our team!

The Burn Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering quality patient care for their assigned hospital unit. The quality of care given will be determined by keeping within the philosophy, mission, and values of both the hospital and the Department of Nursing. The Burn Registered Nurse will maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families, and the community.
