To implement all aspects of the nursing process based upon the medical needs of the patient/resident. To assess and interpret patient/resident information. To plan and implement patient/resident care plans. To act in a supervisory position to provide direction and leadership to LPNs, GNAs and other support staff.


Must have graduated from an accredited nursing school and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam.
Bachelor Degree preferred.
Must be licensed (RN) to practice in Maryland or must be able to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board.
Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
Must obtain 20 CEU's per year
Must have critical thinking and prioritization skills.
Must be computer literate.
Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team member with other employees.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
