The OB/GYN Physician Assistant (PA) has training and experience in both OB and GYN care of adolescent and adult patients. The PA also evaluates and provides consultations for OB care throughout the facility as needed. The PA performs and adheres to all tenets of the Physician's Agreement regarding independent, collaborative, and consultative practice functions. The PA provides admission physicals on all assigned adolescent and adult patients. The PA assists in assigned deliveries and provides medical care to laboring and delivered OB patients, as well as a variety of gynecological patients in collaboration with the attending and resident physicians and the nurse midwives during the day and night. The PA provides emergency care wherever needed in accordance with the Physician's Agreement.

Requirements
Must possess:

High School Diploma or GED
Must have completed a certified Physician's Assistant program
Hospital experience preferred, but not required
Minimum of at least two years experience in a surgical field
Licenses Required:

Maryland PA License and NCCPA
