Certified Nursing Assistant
Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center islooking forcaring Certified Nursing Assistants who can follow appropriate procedures and deliver outstanding care and service.
CNAs are responsible for providing direct care to the residents ofAppomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. This will include assisting residents in activities of daily living and restorative programs under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Bathe, groom, dress,and assist with feeding
- Communicate significant changes in condition to Charge Nurse
- Transfer and transport patients as needed
- Timely respond to residents' needs as indicated by call bells
- Measure and record weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, food and fluid intake and output as directed
Positions available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. The ability to work every other weekend is required.
