Under direct supervision of the Unit Director and Administrative Nurse II, the primary responsibilities of the clinical nurse include, but are not limited to, the proper care of instrumentation and equipment, the direct nursing care of patients utilizing the nursing process; development and application of leadership, management, and communication concepts; teaching of patients and staff; maintenance of professional standards.
Duties: Circulate surgical cases, prefer ophthalmology, orthopedics, general surgery and pediatric service lines
Shift: Mon-Fri 0630-1500 (8 hour shift)
Duration: 12 - 16 weeks
Candidates for the Labor & Delivery Nurse should meet the minimum following requirements:
- Hold and maintain a current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse / RN.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- BLS (Required)
- ACLS (Preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years experience
